Model 6200 - Liquid

The 6200 Liquid is a patented mid-mount design dual placement strip till toolbar designed for effective conservation tillage. Like the dry unit, the 6200 Liquid is available in widths of 20' (8-row), 30' (12-row), & 40' (16-row). What sets the 6200 Liquid bar with a 1000 gallon tank apart from the competition is the ability to carry the fertilizer right on the bar itself. This strip till feature makes it easy for maneuvering around in the field - backing into a corner (backs like a two wheel cart) or no drifting on slopes like a pull-behind cart would do. The 6200 Liquid is also available with a 1600 gallon tank. The 1600 gallon tank is mounted on a cart that attaches to the 6200 framework right over the transport tires. The rear wheels of the cart steer with the applicator to stay in the applicator's wheel tracks for proper conservation tillage. The 6200 - 1600 uses 13.6 x 38 12 ply tires/wheels to carry the load. With the 1000 or 1600 gallon tank mounted over the transport wheels the only part of the bar raising or lowering is the toolbar with the row units itself - Not the load! The 6200 comes standard with an extendable rear hitch for pulling an anhydrous nurse tank for applying anhydrous while also applying the liquid fertilizer. The 6200 Liquid is available with flat-fold row markers and a variety of row units - Edge-Bent (shear-bolt style), Auto-Reset, or the Parallel Linkage Models: Row Pro 230 & Row Pro 300.

Model 6200 - Dry

The Model 6200 Dry is also a patented mid-mount dual placement strip-till toolbar designed with conservation tillage in mind. By dual placement we mean, the bar is capable of applying two products down at the same time. The 6200 comes standard with an extendable rear hitch for pulling an anhydrous nurse tank for applying anhydrous while also applying the liquid or dry fertilizer. The 6200 is available in widths of 20' (8-row), 30' (12-row), & 40' (16-row). What sets the strip till 6200 apart from the competition is the ability to carry the fertilizer right on the bar itself. This feature makes it easy for maneuvering around in the field - backing into a corner (backs like a two wheel cart), easy to maneuver in tight spaces (unlike other toolbars that would need a pull-between or pull-behind cart for the fertilizer), and little or no drifting on slopes like a pull-behind cart would do. A 6-ton dry box with an auger metering system is standard for this strip till bar. What sets our dry system apart from others is, our tank is not pressurized and we use the Newmatics auger metering system. The system meters the same amount of fertilizer to the ports (same number of ports as shanks on the bar) from the bottom of the tank. The fan then blows the fertilizer directly to the shank of this strip till tool. Other dry fertilizer systems meter the fertilizer into a large tube and then the fertilizer is blown into a "bonnet" type manifold (which sets approximately tank high) and from the bonnet to each individual row. This type of conservation tillage system can cause inaccuracy in the amount of fertilizer that is delivered to each row - especially when running on hillsides (fertilizer tends to travel to the area of least resistance). The dry box is mounted directly over the transport axle which allows only the toolbar with the row units to raise - not the load! The 6200 Dry is available with flat-fold row markers and a variety of row units - Edge-Bent (shear-bolt style), Auto-Reset, or the Parallel Linkage Models: Row Pro 230 & Row Pro 300.

Model 7200

Progressive's Model 7200 is a heavy-duty, front-folding, strip till toolbar. The front-folding allows for a narrower transport width versus the standard vertical fold toolbars. The 7200 is available in working widths of 30' (12-row), 40' (16-row), and 60' (24-row). The 7200 is available with flat-fold row markers and a variety of row units - Edge-Bent (shear-bolt style), Auto-Reset, or the Parallel Linkage Models: Row Pro 230 & Row Pro 300.
